well we had a good weekend! :)

thursday we did the usual los loros... but it was just me, josh, jerm and jarred. and we only had 2 small pitchers btwn us all. it was a low-key night :) we weren't gonna get anything @ all (except food duh) but we couldn't resist. :P it was nice!

i spent all friday with my mom. we tried to get some christmas shopping done and all i got was a pair of socks for my dad LOL. i had an old bath & body works gift card i wanted to use up and it had like $30 on it. plus i had a "free item of your choice" coupon. well, i got 3 handsoap dispenser thingies for the bathroom, a new loufa and a pair of socks. my dad LOVES those socks with the "non-slip" rubber thingies on the bottom. hahaha. so i got him a nice pair of those... they're really soft.  so i guess he can wear those around the house if he wants.  i should prob go back and get another pair for him and more soap so i can use up the rest of my card.

i also got 2 shirts that were soooooo cheap @ kohls... one shirt was actually 80% off lol. and they're both dressy so i can wear em to work or something. yay!  thennn i got a cheapo pair of leggings @ forever 21. they're kinda long so they get all bunched up @ the top ;( o well. grr. jarred thinks leggings make me look like peter pan. teehee. my old pair of leggings are shorter (like capris? mid calf), and at least these go allllll the way down to the ankle like i wanted.

then @ dillards i got this purdy purple dress for the christmas office party! :D

 
yea i know i look retarded. and why did i keep making that face?!?! hahaha. i wanted to show jarred to see what he thought... he was @ work! it's prettier in person... looks really plain here... but what can ya do with a camera phone and dept. store lighting?? hehe. oh and the dress hits right above my knee... it looks really long here!

i'd like to wear silver shoes with it, but i reallllllllly don't have the money to go out and get shoes. i already need new boots and wanna get some friday, so i kinda wanna limit my purchases here. man, i never go shopping anymore! i rarely buy anything. it's sad :( i'm so poor. my shoes are all falling apart and i've had them for sooooooo long, haha. so i deserve a new pair of boots at least!!! :P so uh, i guess black shoes will hafta do with my purple dress =\ i dunno if that's gonna look tacky or not, but o well :(

i also have some other cute outfits i could wear... a month ago i bought 3 long sleeveless dressy tanks @ forever 21... they all kinda look the same, just different colors and details, but overall the same idea. they look sooo cute over leggings! so i tried on those last night and jarred said i looked silly b/c i never dress that way, haha. but silly in a good way... i hope ;) sooooooooo now i need some boots to go over em... butttt i also have some pumps i could wear too. which looks reallllly cute.

ANYWAY! 'nuff bout clothes.

so that was my friDAY. that night we all went to a new club/bar called Primal for keri's bday. it was their "soft opening." a lotta ppl were there and the place was really cool!!! they had all these different rooms with different music and themes.  one was the rock n roll room with all these signed guitars hanging from the ceiling. they played horrible rock music hahaha but that's where we were all night b/c it wasn't that crowded, the bartenders were nice (we got free shots of that sweet tea liqour stuff mixed with vodka.... ehhh kinda weird... i'm not a big shot person so it was hard to swallow!), and we could all hear each other talking lol it wasn't that loud.

but yea... the staff was SO nice. and they had a freakin sword swallower (he did like 6 swords at once) and some kinda acrobatic thing goin on (on a big ring) but we didn't get to see that :( they're also gonna have a stripper in a cage or something LOL and all this other stuff. they weren't completely finished putting things together.  when we got there there was some crappy rock band playin on stage, then later that room turned into a dancefloor and stuff... i was amazed by the disco balls everywhere... it was soooooooooo pretty.

it was a lotta fun tho! natalie got drunk and didn't wanna stop dancing! haha. the rest of us just got a good lil buzz goin.  keri and her gang left "early" to take some ppl home and said they were gonna come back and hang with us, but we all wanted to leave (except for nat b/c she felt bad) so we just left like an hour after they did... keri then texted me to say that they decided not to go back to the club anyway. then we got some yummy waffle house and it was allllllll good. :D

saturday we were @ jarred's mom's place for a while. jarred's brother and his wife and 3 kids are moving to germany today for a few years (he's in the army) so we were spending as much time with them as we could.  all the kids (well, the 2 girls, nathan is still a lil baby!) opened christmas presents and then we all had a yummmmmmmmy dinner together. jarred's mom can cook! mmmmm. :o) then we played mad gab and outburst. fun! :) we left @ around 9:30ish or so and headed back home.

natalie met us @ the house and we sat around talkin about movies and stuff lol and just waited til it got a lil later so we could head out to east atlanta.  our friend laura came to town so we went out there to hangout with her for a couple hours. it was fun! the bar we went to was packedddddddddd. it was soo hot. i hate how it's FREEZING outside but sooo hot in the bar. so you want to wear your coat but when you get to the bar you're burning up and don't wanna carry it around everywhere, ughh. so yea, anyway, we did a lotta dancing. it was fun :o)

andddddd yesterday we just had a lazy day! :) gotta love those.

jarred and i dunno what to do about christmas! he has a lotta stuff he wants to get me but says he doesn't have the money LOL and i know what he means... everything i want is way too much money and it's just stuff on my wishlist anyway... i desperately need a new laptop and so does he.  i also need a digital slr. blah.  i DID have his christmas present pretty much all picked out but now i don't think it's gonna work out ;( grr. it woulda been an AMAZING surprise/present, too. i might be able to do it still, but it won't be so much a surprise anymore :( buttt anyway, last night we were tryin to figure out what to do... like if we should just put our money together to get something big we can both use, or put our money together and go on a trip. we haven't been anywhere in a long time and i've been dying to go to gatlinburg with him and show him the amazing aquarium there! lol. i know it'd be kinda a waste of money (i mean, it's NOT b/c we'd have fun together and it'd be a lil vacation and create a lotta memories) but right now we're soooo poor lol we could really use some stuff... like a new computer. who knows. but he wants a PC for this program he uses and i wanna mac to be my next personal laptop. so basically we need 2 laptops. that's a lotta money we don't have. but even if we do put our $$ together for somethin, i'll prob sneak out and get him a lil side-present, hehehe, b/c i can't help myself. there ARE a buncha things i wanna get him... i love getting him surprises!!! :D

well anyway, talkin about money depresses me. we're gonna try and eat cheap this week to save up! i've pretty much cut down my lunch-time costs suuuuuuuper cheap, so that's been awesome, so we'll see how we can do for dinner this week!!

oh and this friday we're goin to see GWAR @ the masquerade hahahaha, they're a CRAZY band. and saturday is the office party @ the sundial! i'm so excited! kt's goin with jerm as a friend so we're gonna have a blast :D we're all sharing a room, so we'll be able to get ready there @ the hotel and go straight up to the party.  they're serving heavy appetizers and it's an open bar from 7-11... there's also gonna be a live jazz band! can't waitttt! :) OH and jarred is gonna wear his crazy purple dress shoes and a purple tie... we're gonna match! haha.
