I'm so glad it's over. I thought McCain's speech was incredibly classy, but it's nice that will probably be the last one from him :-P

And ugh I haven't had time to check today yet, but last nite almost all of my facebook friends were fine/happy/whatever, but there was one that made me roll my eyes. (well two, but one was about how it's all in God's hands now/only God can bring real change blah blah nothing racist or anything, but the other was about him being black). I wasn't aware being black was ever an advantage to get you ahead until some bigots apparently decided so last nite. Come on, what the hell?

It's pretty interesting to see people's true colors tho. I just hate how so many (formerly) closeted racist people assume he won ONLY b/c he's black and that nobody actually checked into his policies. Sure some people may have, but some people also voted for McCain because he's white or because he was in the military etc etc. It makes me sad to see what a facade our society has put up. Guess we're not as tolerant as we pretend to be :(.

i don't know if i saw all of mccain's speech. when i flipped through and started watching it it seemed like he had just started... he was moving his arms around really weird like he was trying to get the audience to be quiet and it sounded like people were booing... i dunno. but i did see a lot of it.

ugh this one girl's status on myspace is: "[name] cannot believe the anti-christ won!! Everyone will see, you better get in church!!! "

isn't that crazy?! people are nuts!! lol

and a lotttttttttt of people have been saying that thing about it being in god's hands, blah blah... how all we can do is pray now...

i dunno, maybe i have a lotta redneck/racist 'friends', but the updates, blogs, notes, bulletins, etc. have been a bit over the top, lol.

LOL something hilarious... tuesday night we were watching the local news (late) and they were at spelman college (all african-american school) and this reporter was standing outside and allllllll of these students were out there running around screaming, laughing having a good ol' time celebrating the election and then he was like, "i've been hearing gun shots all around here, i guess in celebration of obama winning the election!" LOL what?! it was crazy...

oh gosh... yeah, when everyone had those ridiculous political statuses, i changed mine to something totally non-political.. about gas! haha. i was tired of reading them. but oh man, did you see the drama resulting from one of regina higbie's statuses from yesterday? if not, you should go to her profile & check it out & read everything that crazy girl was writing on her wall! haha.

ah i think i saw some of it!! there were a LOT of those going on. i think brandy brock's was pretty bad.. she called obama a mutt so ppl got PISSED, lol. yeah i'm pretty sick of all the statuses too... ugh.
